Biography
Elza Javakhishvili was born in 1981 in Georgia. Since 2004, she has lived and worked in Germany, and since 2013 in Berlin. Elza graduated from the TV and Filmmaking Faculty of Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film University. In Germany, she studied the cultural anthropology of textile and art at Dortmund University. In 2013-2016, she completed her course Art in Context of graduate studies. Elza Javakhishvili is a multimedia artist, her art includes: graphics, installation, photography, video art, performance and language experiments (concrete and visual poetry).
