Biography
Gogi Okropiridse born in 1962 in Tbilisi, Georgia. In 1980 - 1985 studied in Moscow and then returned to Tbilisi. In 1991 he moved to Vienna. Since 1989 G. Okropiridse has been participating in numerous group shows and projects. Among them are: 1989 communal exhibition "Russian Mind" in the embankment halls, Graz; 2002 Soho in the Ottakring; Exhibition in the WUK – project space; Sculpture in public space – Flying Fliegende-Fahnen-Wagon; Piece of art of the month – October, ORF – club point culture, Clearance – Museums Quartier; 2009 Soho im Ottakring – „Museum der Trinksprüche“ Contemporary art from Georgia, Chateau de Sant-Avent, Frankreich; Meet Art, Vienna art week 2009; Fistival Artisterium, Tbilisi, Georgia; 2015 Gallery Nectar, Tbilisi, Georgia; 2016 – Soviet car blue - Popiashvili-Gvaberidze Window Project, Tbilisi, Georgia.
