Biography
Elene Naveriani was born in 1985, in Tbilisi, Georgia. In 2003 Elene entered in Tbilisi State Academy of Art where she studied monumental painting, soon during her studies, Elene and other students established art group LOTT which, they worked together till 2007 and made collective diploma performance «Wet Circle».
In 2008, Elene left Georgia and continued her master studie in Geneva art school (HEAD) on the research based master Critical Curatorial Cibermedia, her graduation thesis was dedicated to the collaborative working process in different communities.
In 2012, Elene started her studies in Cinema - and graduated 2014 with the film Gospel of Anasyrma, which was granted with WILSDORF ptize. In 2016 Elene and her collaborator establishes production company mishkin, which produced Elenes first feature I am Truly a Drop of Sun on Earth (2017) in co-production with Alva Film in Switzerland. I am Truly a Drop of Sun on Earth was premiered in Rotterdam, and help numerous prizes in different festivals (Seoul, Xining, Valiadolid, Porto etc) She works in Tbilisi, Geneva and Zurich.
