Biography

Alex Gegia was born in 1980 in Kutaisi, Georgia. In 1998 - 2004 he studied at Tbilisi Academy of Arts, Tbilisi, Georgia. In 2004 A. Gegia was awarded with DAAD stipend and he moved to Germany, continued study in Düsseldorf Art Academy (Class of Y. Immendorf, M. Luperz, and A. Schulz) and graduated it in 2012.
