Biography

Iko Mindadze was born in 1975 in Tbilisi (Georgia). In 1997 graduated from the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts in Monumental Sculpture. In 1996-98 he worked in interior design workshop together with Guga Kotetishvili and Rati Eradze. In 2000-2003 Iko Mindadze studied Industrial Design at Vienna Applied Arts University. Since 2001 works on the facade restoration of Austrian monuments in the company of the Vienna Monument Protection Department.

In 2000 Iko Mindadze moved to study and live in Vienna (Austria). In 2013, he made the performance "Father Tabu", and in 2017 video-installation: art project against children's indoctrination. In 2018, he participated in the Vienna Biennale Parallel Vienna.
