Biography
Tatia Skhirtladze was born in 1976 in Tbilisi, Georgia. She lives and works in Vienna, Austria. During 1993 – 1999 she studied Art and Pedagogy at I. Gogebashvili State College of Pedagogy, Tbilisi, Georgia. In 1999-2004 Tatia graduated from the University of Applied Arts Vienna, Austria. In 2006-2008 she got M.A. in Arts, DAI Dutch Art Institute, Enschede, The Netherlands.
Tatia Skhirtladze is working in different media, making continual artworks and site-specific art projects. She is teaching video art at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Tatia is also a co-
founder of SuK - bureau for cultural implication.
