Biography
Liana Nakashidze was born in 1968 in Batumi, Georgia. In 1980 – 1984 she studied Graphic and visual arts at the Art University in Batumi. In 1989, she graduated from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, Georgia.
Since 1999 Liana has participated in many international exhibitions, among them are: 2015 - permanent presence in MOMACA HILDESHEIM – Virtual Museum of modern and contemporary art; Contemporary Art Fair Zürich, Switzerland; 2 exhibitions at White Gallery Berlin; 2011 - Gallery Arte pluralization, Belfort, France; 2010 - Country, Willy Brandt Museum, Lübeck; 2009 - Kirsten Kjaer museum Frostrup, Denmark; 2002 - Contemporary Art Museum, Batumi, Georgia; 1999 - Academy of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg, Russia etc.
Since 2003 Liana Nakashidze lives & works in Berlin, Germany.
