Biography
Tilda George was born in 1964 in Batumi (Georgia). After school she studied management in business school of Scientific academy. In 1991–1994 she was director for children TV program, in 2002 worked as assistant to producer to the film by Anya Jacobs “Wolves canyon”.
Since 1995 Tilda moved to Germაny. In 1999 she graduated from Multimedia and Design institute with graphic design and programming specialty. After graduation she worked on the exhibition “Prometheus, people, images, views” – a joint project of German History Museum (Berlin) and the protection of cultural heritage foundation of Volklingen.
From 2005 photography became the main art for Tilda George. Her thematic covers sea, street scenes and portraits. In her photographs Tilda uses unusual methods for surface processing. Lately she mainly uses effect of Glitch, what widens the genre borders for photographs.
Since 1998 Tilda George actively participates in International exhibitions and projects.
In 2015-2017 Tilda George did master in image science at Donau University.
Tilda George lives and works in Kornwesthaim and Berlin (Germany).
