Biography
Daredjane Berekachvili was born in Liege (Belgium) in 1952. Her both parents (Gaïoz Berekachvili and Nino Mgaloblichvili) were from the first Georgian political emigration of 1921. She lives in France since 1960.
Drejane graduated from law studies (Master and CAPA-certificate of aptitude to the profession of lawyer). The artist started working in sculpture since 1995, when she entered a workshop of Croissy sur Seine, then she continued her study at Grand Prix de Rome. Darejane made her passion her profession and now she is completely dedicated to the art of sculpture.
